How we work
Start with how you live, not with a style
Chad Faucheux and Curtis Raymond started Design Visions of Austin in April 2007. Two homes designed in this office can end up looking nothing alike, because the starting point is never the same.
A home is not about the designer. It is about how the family actually lives in it.
Most of the work still arrives by referral, from builders and from past clients. That is worth knowing before you call: a studio that grows by word of mouth has to get this one right to get the next one.
Who you work with
The partners behind the studio
You work directly with the partner designing your home. From the first conversation through construction, Design Visions of Austin is there for you for all your needs throughout the process.

Chad Faucheux
Chad Faucheux is a custom home designer with more than 26 years of experience designing homes throughout the Texas Hill Country and surrounding areas. Based out of Design Visions' Fredericksburg office, Chad works closely with clients to create homes that are beautiful, functional, and thoughtfully designed.
A 2000 graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Architecture, Design Specialization, Chad combines his architectural education with decades of practical experience in residential design.
In 2007, Chad co-founded Design Visions with his friend and now business partner, Curtis Raymond. Together, they have grown the firm while staying true to the personal, hands-on approach that has defined Design Visions from the beginning.
Chad's work ranges from custom Hill Country and ranch homes to contemporary residences, remodels, and additions. He believes every home should reflect the people who live there and feel like it belongs on the land where it is built.
Chad lives in Fredericksburg with his wife, Rebekah, and enjoys spending time with family and the Hill Country he calls home.

Curtis Raymond
Curtis Raymond co-founded Design Visions with Chad Faucheux and the two of them still run it together.
[Curtis, this is yours to fill and it is the last thing missing from this page. Chad's is above, in his own words, and runs about five short paragraphs. What you were doing before the studio started, what you would rather be designing than anything else, and what a homeowner gets from working with you in particular.]
